At Recon2Go we have created a service that delivers a secure, reliable login page that is easy to upload and retrieve your data files.

1. Prepare a backup copy of accounting data file (i.e. QuickBooks)*
2. Prepare a copy of the bank statement (PDF or Excel) for reconciliation period(s)
   (You may fax a copy to 415-358-8028).
3. Go to checkout, and you will be directed to our secure site to upload above files.

In about 1 business day you will receive:

1. A back up of your updated and reconciled accounting file
2. A comprehensive reconciliation report which includes
   • List of Outstanding Checks
   • L ist of Deposit-in-Transit
   • List of Unrecorded Bank Debits and Credits
   • List of Uncleared Items

Q: Is my information secure and safe with you?
Yes! Your information is transmitted via bank-level (same levels of physical and encryption security that banks do to protect the data and store) secure connection. We are a registered California corporation and have been providing accounting services since 1997 in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley area. All of our staff and operations are in the USA and pass financial and criminal background checks as a condition of employment. All the information you provide to us is “read-only”, you do not share any bank login or PINs, social security number or account numbers.

Q: How can I insure the confidentially of my banking information?

There are two ways:

1. If you are sending us your bank statements, you can black out the account name and numbers. we do not need it reconcile your account, just a reference name such as” business checking” or “payroll account”
2. You can download your bank transaction to excel and send us just the beginning and ending balance we do the rest.

Q: How to Backup QuickBooks company Data?

3. Open the QuickBooks company file.
4. Choose File > Save Copy or Backup.
5. In the Save Copy or Backup Window select Backup Copy and click Next
6. Then select Local Backup and click Next.
7. QuickBooks now asks you if when do you want to save your backup copy? Select "Save it Now" and click Next.
8. Browse to the folder where you keep your backup files and click Save.
   1. Download Bank transaction data. Simply download activi ty from your bank's website and save as a (csv), or Excel file.
   2. Export your GL transactions for the period from your current accounting software(e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Peachtree, BusinessWorks ,SAP, Oracle & Etc..) into a text, CSV or MS Excel®.
   • Beginning balance and Ending balance (this can be found on the bank statement sent to you by your bank) for the month you would like us to reconcile your bank account.

Q: Can I Get My Bank Statement Online?
Yes you can! Just go to your banks website. Depending on your bank you need to locate client/account services. Select online statements, select the month(s) you are looking for and download and save to folder they are usually in PDF format.

Q: Can I download my bank transaction instead of a copy of my Bank Statement?
Yes you can! Just go to your banks website. Depending on your bank you need to go to Download Account History. Select Account you want to download > select date range > select Download to Spreadsheet (CSV).

Please note if you prefer not to send us the copy of your bank statement we will need the following information to reconcile your account:

Q: Can you reconcile credit card accounts?
Yes we can! Just like your bank account all we need is your credit card statements or transaction downloaded to Excel or CSV.

Q: Do you do reconciliation for other accounting software?

Q: Can you do bank Reconciliation without getting a backup copy of our company data file?

Yes we can! We need only 2 Excel files from you:

Q: What versions of QuickBooks do you support?
We support All QuickBooks Pro and Premier Windows PC version for 2004-2009. We also supports QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 9.0. If you are using QuickBooks Mac version the utilities tool in your QuickBooks to export backup file to PC version.
